What should i do?

Hi im new to linux and ive just bought a net book which has linpus linux lite on it, i i like it but i dont know how to to install anything please can you help me? also im thinking about changing to linux on my desktop pcs can you give me some advice on what distribution of linux i should install ive heard allot about ubuntu but i dont know much about any others so can you tell me what the best for general use and gaming is?? btw i can play my games with wine or some other program cant i?

I'm afraid Linpus is a semi-proprietry Linux so it's not something I've come across. Generally however Linux is Linux and Ubuntu should be as good as games as anything else. Although you can certainly runs some games on Linux and chat at the same time, personally I only play games on an X-Box.

... right tools for the job .. anthing "computing", Internet or office related, I use Linux .. :)
