Can any one help me with my requirement? are we able to use a mobile broadband dongle
with the LINUX operating system?

Urm, I'm afraid that's a little like saying "can I put fuel in my car?" .. the answer is of course yes, but the fuel you put in will determine how far you get ..  ;-)
